Le Blanc au Litre is back: fruit, fruit, mineral, Alsace as we like it, with the ideal cuvée to share with friends!
The colour is pale and bright, the nose evokes citrus fruits and white peach, with subtle hints of flint. The attack on the palate is consistent with the aromas; lemony, mineral, with a lovely freshness and pleasant acidity.
This white wine can be paired with all kinds of dishes: oysters, seafood, fish, pâté en croûte, charcuterie, pies, sauerkraut, baeckeoffe, raclette, or vegetable dishes. A wine to be enjoyed in all seasons.
This cuvée is a blend of 60% Auxerrois and 40% Riesling grapes from various clay-limestone plots on the slopes of Mittelbergheim and the limestone-sandstone terroir of Stierkopf in Mutzig. Certified organic.
Natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation carried out. Light sulphiting during fermentation and bottling. Aged on lees for 8 months in vats. Bottled in April 2025.
Serve chilled at 8-10 degrees.
