Vision pluriel

Patis Pluriel has its roots in a line of winegrowers who have been established on the right bank of the Marne Valley for several decades, but it was in 2023 that Valentin Patis officially launched the house with the desire to bring a fresh perspective to champagne. This transition is based on family memories and the knowledge of several generations, while infusing it with a contemporary vision that is open to experimentation and respectful of nature.

The vineyard covers eleven hectares spread across the villages of Cuchery, Dormans and Hautvillers, on clay-limestone soils particularly suited to the Pinot Meunier grape variety, the house's flagship variety. Each plot is cultivated with care and attention to balance and biodiversity, using sustainable methods. The team works to preserve soil health and ecosystem harmony by promoting regenerative practices, with plant cover and environmentally friendly management.

In the cellar, Patis Pluriel's philosophy is minimalist and sincere. The winemaking process seeks to reveal the authenticity of the terroir without artifice, with minimal intervention, little or no sulphites, respectful ageing, vinification by plot and cuvées designed to be snapshots of a place and a vintage. Among the distinguished achievements, the Corps Simple cuvée, 100% Meunier from the Croix de Verneuil plot, vinified without sulphites and bottled Brut Nature, perfectly illustrates this quest for purity and expression of the terroir.
