More details...

Dagamó 2022 is a 100% Barbera grown on biodynamic vineyards in the hills of Emilia-Romagna. This cuvée is designed to express the full potential of the grape, combining concentration with the freshness typical of the region’s clay soils and Apennine climate.

After fermentation, the wine remains on its skins for several months in terracotta amphorae, a process that enhances both structure and complexity. This extended maceration, combined with amphora ageing, gives the wine depth, mineral tension and a strong sense of identity.

On the nose, it reveals dark cherry, plum and balsamic notes with hints of spice and earth. The palate is dense and layered, supported by firm structure, vibrant acidity and a savoury backbone that carries through to a long finish.

More contemplative than the other reds of the estate, Dagamó is a powerful yet balanced expression of Barbera, shaped by both traditional techniques and a natural approach to winemaking.
