La Vie est Stroebel 2021 has a soft, bright pink colour. On the nose, it combines wild strawberry, fresh raspberry and white peach, accompanied by delicate white flowers and a subtle hint of saltiness. On the palate, the wine is lively, fruity and airy. The balance between juicy fruit and fresh acidity gives a sensation of elegant lightness. The finish prolongs the red fruit notes on a light mineral background and a gentle bitterness, leaving an impression of purity, spontaneity and restrained indulgence...
La Vie est Stroebel 2021 is a still rosé wine AOC Coteaux Champenois, made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grown in the vineyards of Montagne de Reims, around the village of Villers-Allerand, 1er Cru. The vines are organically farmed, and the soil varies between clay, sand and limestone, offering richness, drainage and terroir expression, essential characteristics for still Champagne varietal wines.
The vinification process is very natural: manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, no artificial stabilisation, no filtration or fining, and minimal use of sulphur. The wine is then aged for around 18 months in barrels before being bottled in November 2024. Production remains limited to just a few hundred bottles, giving this wine its artisanal, sincere and unique character.
At his estate in Villers-Allerand in the Montagne de Reims, Timothée Stroebel combines a strong desire to return to basics with family heritage, organic viticulture and natural winemaking.
