Hazat 2020 is a Blanc de Noirs made from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes grown in the "Le Hazat" vineyard, located in the Chamery village, classified as a Premier Cru, on the Montagne de Reims. The estate has been farmed organically since 2012, using practices that respect biodiversity.

The wine is partly vinified in oak barrels for around 12 months, which adds structure and complexity while preserving the freshness and expression of the Meunier. After bottling, the wine aged on lees for over 30 months before being disgorged à la volée in February 2024. No dosage has been added; it is a Brut Nature (0g/L), in keeping with the winemaker's natural philosophy.

The Chamery terroir combines sandy-clay slopes at the bottom of the hillside, clay-limestone soils halfway up and chalky subsoils near the woods, offering a diversity of textures, drainage and great minerality. This diversity can be perceived in Le Hazat, with verticality and salinity characterising the expression of this terroir Meunier.
