Cosmos grows on Corentin Houillon's molasse and jet du quaternaire soils in Chautagne, terroir that gives Mondeuse a distinctive balance of freshness, breadth and character. The grapes are seventy percent destemmed and thirty percent left as whole clusters, fermenting for eighteen days before spending a full year in barrel. It is vinified entirely without additives, letting the vintage speak plainly through the glass.

2024 was a cool, humid growing season, and it left its mark clearly on this cuvée. Rather than the fuller, more structured Mondeuse of past vintages, this year's Cosmos comes in light and highly sapid, yet the wine has lost none of its spice. Coming in at a mere 8.5% alcohol, it remains direct and vibrant, carrying real tannic presence despite its delicacy, with a fresh, energetic finish. A surprising, free-spirited expression of Mondeuse that proves lightness and character are not mutually exclusive. A guaranteed crowd-pleaser, best served with charcuterie or a simple roast.
