If Only, If Only 2023 is a 100% Silvaner from Franconia, produced by Wein Goutte from organically farmed vineyards spread across several small plots with varied soils including gypsum and sandstone. 

The grapes are foot-stomped and macerated overnight before pressing, a gentle extraction that enhances texture without pushing the wine into a full orange style. 

Fermented with native yeasts and aged in a combination of large, neutral oak and acacia barrels, the wine develops depth while preserving purity and freshness. 

On the nose, it shows citrus, white flowers and herbal notes with a subtle smoky edge. The palate is light and precise, combining bright acidity, mineral tension and a fine, textural grip, leading to a clean and persistent finish. 

At just 10% alcohol, the wine is fluid and highly drinkable, offering a refined and understated expression of Silvaner rooted in Franconian terroir.
