The Montserre parcel owes its name to the "Serres", a geological limestone formation in the form of dense superimposed slabs. On the surface, the soil is strewn with white pebbles.
Situated at altitude, on the roof of the appellation, the Montserre parcel, exposed to the four winds, is bordered by a hedge of trees where birds nest, forming a virtuous ecosystem.
Montserre wines are feverish, dry and powerful, expressing the strength and harshness of nature.
