A typical Jura Trousseau red: lively, full-bodied and slightly rustic in the best possible way. A wine for sharing with friends, to be enjoyed whether standing or sitting, without a second thought!
According to Baptiste Ramboz, Brindzingue is the quintessential red table wine. A Jura Trousseau vinified under the VSIG designation, without any artificial intervention, with the fruit taking centre stage and the terroir providing a solid foundation. Trousseau naturally produces light, colourful wines with aromas of fresh red fruit, a distinct acidity and a light tannic structure that requires no effort to drink. Ramboz vinifies it in a way that preserves all this liveliness and drinkability.
On the nose, there are notes of cherry, redcurrant, peony and a slight earthy note reminiscent of the Jura. On the palate, it is smooth and straightforward, with generous fruit and a short but clean finish. This is a red to be served slightly chilled, a wine that accompanies a meal without trying to impress, perfect for large gatherings and pre-dinner drinks. The sort of bottle you open once and recommend to everyone.
