The iconic Blanc de Noirs from Maison Fleury, here in Jeroboam format, a rare size that magnifies depth and precision. Made from biodynamically grown Pinot Noir, the wine reveals ripe fruit, notes of citrus, dried flowers and a distinct chalky minerality. The palate is full-bodied and taut, carried by a fine effervescence and luminous energy, with an elegant length that gains even more finesse thanks to ageing in large formats...
Established in Courteron, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, since 1895, the Fleury estate embodies one of the oldest histories of independent winegrowers in southern Champagne. Great-grandfather Emile Fleury replanted the vineyard after the phylloxera crisis, then his son Robert began making and marketing his own champagnes in the 1920s and 1930s, becoming one of the region's first récoltants manipulateurs. Since then, four generations have followed in his footsteps, developing the estate while preserving its family spirit and historical roots.
Today, the vineyard covers around fifteen hectares planted on the clay-limestone soils typical of the Côte des Bar, where Pinot Noir finds its ideal terroir. Fleury stands out for its early commitment to biodynamics, an approach initiated in 1989 and implemented across the entire estate in the early 1990s. The winemaking process respects this approach, with manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention. Fleury champagnes are characterised by their precise freshness, luminous elegance and faithful expression of the minerality and depth of the southern Champagne terroirs!
