Stone fruit and orchard notes greet you first, followed by a hint of fresh cut grass and gentle, playful bubbles. Golden, light and thoroughly crushable, this is the perfect aperitivo companion, best enjoyed in the sunshine with cured pork, fresh cheese and good bread...
Cinino Bianco is the twin sibling of Cinino Rosato, the pink pétillant naturel that first made the Agri Segretum name known beyond Umbria. Made by Lorenzo De Monaco and Eileen Holland at their organic estate in Collazzone, this bottling comes from the youngest vines on the property, planted right beside the farmhouse that guests can rent when visiting La Segreta.
The wine is 100% Grechetto di Todi, one of Umbria's classic indigenous white grapes, known locally for lending herbal and slightly nutty character to whatever it touches. Following the same metodo ancestrale used across the Cinino family, the wine undergoes primary fermentation in stainless steel before being bottled to finish fermenting naturally, developing its characteristic gentle fizz and light golden hue without any added sulphites.
The result is playful and refreshing, showing stone fruit and orchard notes with a touch of fresh cut grass that firmly places it among the rolling hills surrounding Collazzone. Complex enough to hold real interest yet entirely easy to drink, Cinino Bianco is built for the aperitivo hour, ideally paired with Norcia cured pork, fresh cheese, grilled bread and good local olive oil. A wine meant to put a smile on your face, one sip at a time.
