More details...

nénu is the project of Danish biologist Rasmus Aamand Olesen, who settled in Collioure in 2016. Working small parcels entirely by hand, he farms Grenache, Carignan, Grenache Gris and local varieties through a natural, chemical-free approach. Hand harvesting, traditional destemming and spontaneous fermentations shape each cuvée in full respect of the vines and their environment.

In the cellar, the wines are aged slowly in barrels or neutral vessels with minimal intervention, allowing the coastal salinity, schist depth and gentle maritime influence to come through. nénu produces bright and precise wines with fine tension, offering a sincere Mediterranean style that blends intensity and freshness with strong personality.

He has never left the region and today he runs his 4 hectare estate with his own two hands, making wines that are authoritative, deep and distinctive, bringing a touch of freshness to this region on the edge of southern France...
