Located on the Estagel plateaus in the heart of Roussillon, Luc Devot cultivates several hectares of old Syrah, Grenache, Macabeu and other local grape varieties on schist and limestone soils. The work is entirely manual, without synthetic inputs, with a very free and instinctive approach to both viticulture and vinification.

In the cellar, the grapes are vinified using gentle maceration, carbonic maceration or direct pressing, depending on the cuvée, with spontaneous fermentation and short ageing in vats or, for more refined wines, in barrels. The style is pure and luminous, always faithful to the Mediterranean energy of Roussillon. Luc Devot's wines favour freshness, sincerity of fruit and brilliant drinkability, while retaining the mineral and wild character of these hillsides.

Le Débit d’Ivresse

Luc

In the hills of Roussillon, a good forty minutes from Perpignan and already more than 300 metres above sea level, this is where Luc Devot works his magic with the local grape varieties, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah or Grenache Gris. Fine and fresh juices, with a southern flavour but with a mineral allure. Installed at the Cave Apicole since 2018, his work is to be followed closely...
