The 2024 vintage marks a turning point for Domaine Chapel, as all wines now come from the estate’s own seven hectares of organically farmed, sloped vineyards in Fleurie, Chiroubles and Régnié, complemented by their cherished Bourgogne-Aligoté from old aligoté doré vines. While the domaine continues its transition toward full organic certification between 2025 and 2027, the year brought one of the most difficult growing seasons in recent memory, resulting in lower yields, including a drastic reduction of Fleurie and no production of Chiroubles for the year.

Despite the challenges, the wines show a lighter, more finely chiselled profile compared to recent solar years. A vintage limited in quantities but showing great purity and elegance across the release.
