Extended-skin-contact wine with a rich yet drinkable texture, aromas of candied citrus, black tea and orange zest, soft tannins and a long mineral finish, a ripe, sunny and honest orange wine true to the estate’s natural spirit...
Perched between Aigle and Ollon in the Vaud Chablais, Domaine Christinat blends heritage and terroir with dedication. Founded in 1989 from vineyard parcels inherited from the founder’s grandfather, the estate now spans 6 hectares on steep slopes, cultivating Chasselas, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon and other varieties suited to the region’s schist, moraine and calcareous scree soils. Since 2017, eldest son Noé has joined the winery after studying oenology, bringing fresh energy to winemaking, while Nathalie has taken care of the family tasting cellar and welcoming visitors.
In vineyard and cellar, the approach remains respectful, hands-on and committed: working terraces by hand, manual harvests, living soils, and since 2023 the estate is fully certified organic under the “Bourgeon” label. Winemaking is done with minimal interventions and limited added sulfites depending on cuvée, to let the terroir speak. The wines, whites, reds or rosés, reflect the contrast of mountains and sunshine, offering alpine minerality, bright freshness and elegant precision. Together they form a clear signature: living wines, sincere, rooted in the Vaud Chablais, committed to earth and time.
