The greyish terroirs of the Stierkopf express their smoky notes through this great Pinot Noir with its subtle fruitiness
Made from grapes grown on the Stierkopf vineyard in Mutzig, this Pinot Noir has a burgundy red color and develops slightly smoky aromas with notes of red fruit. The palate is fresh and delicious, lively and smooth, without any harshness.
Black pudding, grilled red meats, barbecue, dark chocolate desserts: this wine with no added sulfur will pair well with any dish that calls for a fine red.
Facing south, the Stierkopf terroir in Mutzig is composed of sandy limestone. These old vines, over 30 years old, come from a mass selection of Burgundy Pinot Noir grapes. Certified organic.
10-day semi-carbonic maceration on whole grapes. Indigenous yeasts. Aged for 8 months in stainless steel vats. No added sulfites.
Serve chilled, at a temperature of 12-14 degrees.
