Catherine Dumora and Manuel Cuveau are located at Blanzat north of Clermont-Ferrand in Puy-de-Dôme.
As a couple they take care of several small parcels. Mainly the old gamay d’Auvergne on different soils located between 300 and 400 meters altitude on very low yields. 100% grape juice from grassy horse-drawn ploughed vines or simply mowed.
The treatments consist of floral waters and essential oils.
Catherine and Manu pick the grapes…they harvest the little bunches which remain after the grape harvests on abandoned vines. Very small quantities with a high sugar percentage to try out different experiments in Dame Jeanne wine pitchers.
Since 2015, CNT cider and since 2016 apple wine, other experiments in progress…
